3色の色糸で無地を表現したトリニティーシャンブレー生地を使用したスナップシャツ。タテに2色、ヨコに1色、計3色の糸を使用して織ったこの生地は、ターゲットとする色を設定したのち、その色に含まれる要素を1Base(基礎となる色目)、2Hi-light(最も明るい要素)、3Noise(違和感のある雑味)の3要素に分解して抽出。それぞれの要素を強調したあらたな色を作りそれを再度、織りで掛け合わせることで、単純な後染めでは決して出せない陰影や奥行きに富んだ無地の色目を作り出している。快適な服地としての糸質・番手・打ち込み本数のバランス、そして洗濯後の風合いやシワの入り方に至るまで様々な検証の末にたどり着いた黄金比によるシャツ地。シャツとしてもコーチジャケットの様なライトアウターとしても着用でき、内部にはスリングベルトも完備。
Three coloured thread trinity chambray snap shirt. Featuring two warp threads and one weft thread of varying colors, the final color of this piece was the result of the dissection of 3 factors: 1, its base color, 2, hi-light (its brightest component), and 3, noise (visual interest). By emphasizing these three components and further enhancing it through weaving techniques, nuanced colors with new depth are created that otherwise would be impossible in traditional piece dyeing. The fabric itself is the product of various testing from how it wrinkles and reacts in the washing machine, to the balance of thread quality and count. Can be worn as a shirt or coach jacket-like light outer. Inner sling straps.
