ロイヤルエアフォースのオフィサーシャツをモチーフにした1着は、オリジナルの雰囲気を再現すべく、生地から開発した。シルエットは現代的な解釈のもとビッグシルエットにし、プルオーバーながら羽織り感覚でも着用できる。腰ベルトは着用時のシルエットを変えたり、衿台の後ろに付いたボタンに留めることで背負うためのスリングパーツとして機能している。ブルーのハケ目生地をモチーフに作成した生地は、少し厚みがあり、わずかな凹凸を感じられる。ヨコ糸にスーピマ超長綿の単糸をあえて使用することで、洗濯を繰り返すうちに糸が膨らみ、風合いを増していく。また仕上げの前段階で生地を洗ってほぐしたのち、圧をかけながら再度シワを伸ばすという作業をプラス。これによって生地が立体的となり、洗いざらしでできたシワも柔らかくなる。同型の異素材モデルも展開。
Inspired by office shirts worn in the Royal Airforce, this shirt was designed from the fabric up to encapsulate the mood of the original. Its modern, large shape allows for wear as a pullover while the button anchored waist belt allows for silhouette adjustment. Front flat pocket reveals a hidden pocket underneath. Double button cuffs.Developed based on blue brushed fabrics, this fabric is slightly thick with an uneven texture. The extra- long fibers of Supima cotton in the weft has been repeatedly washed to strengthen the thread and increase suppleness. Pressure is then further applied before finishing while wrinkles are smoothed out in order to bring about body. This style is also available in another fabric way this season.
