空調服とのコラボレーションレインジャケット。
工事現場や溶接作業などで使用されることが多く、街中で見かけることも増えた電動ファン付きウェア。
暑い時期でも長袖の洋服を着なければいけないシチュエーションを考え、雨から身を守るためのレインウェアを製作。
ファン部分から外気を吸い込む機能が雨とは相性が悪く、市場でもレインウェアと空調服の機能を両立させている製品はあまり投入されていないのが実情だった。
ファンに雨避けカバーを付けるだけでも機能としては成り立つが、取って付けた様なディティールは日常には馴染みまない。
この部分をデザインの力で解決し、ファッションとしての要素と機能を融合できると考え設計を進めた。
暑さ対策として、従来の空調服として着用できるベストをベースに、その上に袖とファンカバーが一体化したパーツを重ねて取り付けることでレインウェアとして使用可能。
ファンカバー部分は内蔵のナイロンテープを引くことでたくし上げられる様になっており、電動ファンの性能を最大限に高めることができる。
ファンカバーを下げた状態ではファンは見えない仕様のため、ファンを取り外して通常のジャケットとしても着用可能。

Known as “kuchofuku” in Japanese, (air- conditioned clothing) this technology features a system of double integrated fans on the back of the jacket in order to promote sweat evaporation.
This waterproof jacket features a back flap covering the fan and can be worn as a vest- allowing for protection against rain and wind.

Original waterproof, 3-Layer breathable nylon rip stop fabric.
Anchored by the “air-circulation system” in the back, a flap can be removed by zipper to reveal the fans underneath and transform the jacket into a vest.
Snap buttons located by both armpits also allow for size adjustment and prevent unwanted wind from entering.
True to meanswhile’s classic web neck detail, adjustments can also be made in the front with just one hand.
A side zipped pocket also allows the wearer to reach inner layer pockets.
