40/1の糸を高密度に織り上げ、ハリを持たせたコットンチェックを使用したフラップシャツ。加工にてシルクのような光沢を持たせ、シワを無くすようフラットに仕上げている。毛焼き工程で生地表面の毛羽を焼いた後、加工にて光沢を出し、繊維強力の向上と洗濯収縮を安定化した。前面を大きく覆うフラップは腰ポケットの蓋、胸ポケットの機能を両立している。大きめの身幅に深めのアームホール等、アウター代わりの羽織りとして着用可能。
High density 40/1 thread, supple cotton check flap shirt. Treated to have a silk-like lustre and wrinkle free, flat appearance. Face of the fabric is singed to further bring out these properties while strengthening its fibers and stabilizing shrinkage. Front flap is both a pocket and “lid” for the waist pocket. A wide width and deep arm holes allows this piece to be worn as an outer layer.
